Big sunny room in Shoreditch/Old street flat.

Hey everyone,

Due to the constantly changing Covid world we are currently living in I'm on the lookout for 4 new flatmates to move into this great Old Street flat from the 1st of April

The Location

The location of the flat can't be beat. It's right inbetween Shoreditch, Angel and Barbican so handy to pretty much anything you could need. So many great bars and resturants are in this area plus its an easy walk to 4 different cinemas and the Barbican arts center.

There are several gyms in the area if thats more your thing, plus the Ironmonger Baths are just accross the road if you fancy a swim.

Plenty of parks are nearby with Regents Canal super close which is gives a nice little walk to Shoreditch Park, or further on to London Fields.

There are also several supermarkets nearby, so everything you could need is really convienient, plus its a well connected area with public transport. It's only 5 minutes from Old Street Station on the Northern Line, you can also easily walk to Barbican for the Circle/Metropolitan line and there are plenty of bus routes going through the area.

The Flat

The flat is nice and spacious and south facing so gets loads of sun into the large shared living room, new couches arehave just arrived which go great for the big screen TV. The kitchen comes with all the essentials, and lots of space, everyone gets their own cuboard/shelf in the fridge.

Bills are split between the housemates and come to around £60 a month each, including water, power, internet, council tax and tv licence.

The Rooms

Room 1
This is the biggest room in the house, and comes with an ensuite with a shower so you don't even have to share the bathroom with the rest of the flat.

It comes furnished with bed, shelves, wardrobe and desk so suitable if you are needing to work from home.

Rent for this room is £842.29 with a deposit of £971.87

Room 2
This is a nice spacious and sunny south facing room. Its big enough to work from home in and comes with a bed, desk, shelves and 2 standing wardrobes

Rent for this room is £716.29 with a deposit of £826.48

Room 3
This room is a good size and comes with a bed, drawers and wardrobe. Its doesn't come with a desk, but there is plenty of space to put one in if you are currently working from home, as the current flatmate has done.

Rent for this room is £691.02 with a deposit of £797.33

Room 4
Room 4 is the smallest it the flat, buts its still got plenty of space. It comes with a bed, shelves, and 2 sets of drawers. It also has 2 built in wardrobes so plenty of storage despite its small size.

Rent for this room is £640.55 with a deposit of £739.00

About me

I'm a New Zealander whose been living in London for 6 years now working as a pastry chef so there are always leftover cakes coming home, and these lockdowns have got me baking at home more than I ever have before. Being a chef I’m not working from home so that helps give everyone a bit more space during lockdown.

When we arn't in a lockdown I spend most of my time traveling, making the most of Londons galleries and theatres and eating out as much as I can. I've normally got a couple of gigs lined up to look forward too. During lockdown its been alot of home baking, catching up on Netflix or flat boardgames and the odd zoom quiz.

I'm looking to fine a great group of people to fill the gap left by the departing flatmates i've bonded with over the various lockdown so if any of that sounds like this could be the flat for you, send me a message.
