Oval Friendly flatshare double room very central
Oval Gay Flatshare - Very Central London
Lovely double room available (1st photo), for one male person in a friendly & social home. There's King size bed with a top of the range 6000 pocket sprung mattress. The room overlooks the garden & very quite (see phot). There's a bedside table and lamp, remote Phillips Hue app lighting, a large wardrobe, Wooden floor broads, it's cosy, with a warm and good vibe.
The flat is situated in quiet tree lined street, with fabulous and numerous transport connections to get around London at ease.
I found 1 very friendly male str8 Flatmate and I'm looking for another male flatmate, who’s either gay or gay friendly, easy going, social with a sense of humour, being tidy and helping to clean is very important :-). Great also if your preference is living in home, rather than a crash pad. I have no issue with race & certainly never voted for Brexit.
I prefer friendly flatmates with social skills, who like eating together sometimes, sharing a bottle of wine, watching movies, but sure having your own space too.
I do have a garage, which can be used for storage, such as suitcases, or clothes etc, being very handy. There's Super fast fibre broadband (Wireless), dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, 900mm oven, with roasting spit and pizza oven and a large Sub Zero fridge, Wooden floorboards throughout the flat, with a couple of rugs and there's a shower in the tiled bathroom.
The flat has a couple of social areas, the kitchen is open plan with the dining room, with a large solid wooden table, 32-inch LCD TV and also flatmates can use and share the front room with a 49 inch LED UHD TV, there's choice and ability to change each month with Sky cinema & entertainment, Netflix, freeview, as it's a monthly contract.
I fitted various LED lighting and lamps throughout the flat, providing cheaper bills and consideration to the planet, partly there's computerized controlled lighting with a remote control. A new energy saving Combi boiler has also been fitted, providing cheaper bills & controlled by a smartphone app. I'm updating other parts of the flat too.
The Oval is right in the middle of the SW and SE postal divide, I can't tell anyone enough how magical cycling everywhere from the Oval is, mostly completely off the main roads,- on either cycle routes, through parks, or using the super cycle highways. I travelled around the world and never seen a better cycle route in any City.
There's a bike hanger for cycles situated right outside my home, they charge a small fee, but it helps keeping your cycle safe if you require a space for a bike.
The Oval is very central, so I consider areas like the West End and Soho are local. If you’re a professional cricket player it cannot get better, as the Oval cricket ground is short stroll away to work :-) as is Kennington Park, various restaurants, Jazz bars, pubs (even a Michelin Star recommended pub restaurant), theatres, a choice of Mega Supermarkets, or 2 Tesco express and local shops nearby. The pudding on the cake, is the best Italian bread baked, just in the next street.
I cannot fail to mention the fabulous Oval Farmers Market every Saturday. I think it's better than Borough Market, having a lovely atmosphere, fabulous cooked food and various fresh produce, so forget Harrods.
Van Gogh lived in the joining Street and commented how he loved walking to & from work, situated in Covent Garden every day, but as mentioned the flat is situated with excellent transport connections: 7 mins walk to the Oval Northern Line Tube for either the West End or City (Waterloo Station 2 stops), Stockwell in the other direction for the Victoria Line tube, a 12-mins walk, (Oxford Circus 5 stops). There’s a bus stop at the end of my street, having too many services to mention.
It's fantastic living in South London and being situated near the Thames River, as you get to see beautiful London, it's spectacular Skyline, the sense of space and London’s splendour each time you cross the Thames River, which you cannot see or feel, if your living in cramped up Nth London, no wonder why Van Gogh loved living here & walked to work everyday.
The Oval is only 15-minute bus ride to Trafalgar Square. Vauxhall a short 12-mins walk, providing further transport options with the mainline train station to various destinations, including Gatwick Airport.
Even though my advert states no smoking, smokers have lived here a number of times, but always smoked outside.
