Single professional mum, 44 years old with a 10yo son looking for another single professional parent or single professional to share a spacious Edwardian house and garden in Palmers Green (Southgate/Winchmore Hill borders) in North London. Available immediately. The house and space dimensions must be seen to be appreciated. The furnished double/triple bedroom with high ceilings measures 15ft x 11ft approx and also has enough space to for you to accommodate a sofa and small coffee table alongside a double bed. Furniture include large chest of drawers, two double wardrobes and a black metal frame double bed and new mattress (delivery w/c 4 November 2019). Small pets considered i. e cat or small dog.
Shared spaces include the kitchen, two bathrooms, dining room and the garden. Palmers Green is well connected transport wise. It's a ten minute walk to Palmers Green overground which takes you to Moorgate or Finsbury Park on the Victoria line, where you can also pick up the Piccadilly line. Alternatively Southgate Underground and Arnos Grove Underground on the Piccadilly Line are a 15 min walk away. There are also good bus routes.
Community wise, it's fabulous. Good schools, parks, cafés, restaurants, Enfield Town and Wood Green shopping centres are a bus ride away. You're also near Southgate and Winchmore Hill with its lovely cafés/shops. And a 20 min car or bus ride from Muswell Hill and Crouch End.
The household is a relaxed, non-party environment, so if home is your sanctuary you’ll be happy here. Like me, you'll keep the home clean/tidy, not be adverse to household chores if we don't have a cleaner and enjoy no-drama, relaxed living. Experience has taught me that drama queens - of both sexes - and those with an aversion to household rules/tidiness need not apply. Home is a sanctuary so ideally I'm looking for someone similar minded to compliment a relaxed home life.
Your share of the rent would be £750pcm excluding bills. Bills are an additional £250pcm to include Council Tax/utilities/broadband.
You would need to be in full time employment and be able to pay one month's rental deposit with one month's rent in advance. References from your previous Landlord and evidence of employment such as your last two payslips would also be required.
