A large double room available in a two bedroom apartment from May 15th for a couple. The homely flat has lots of charm and personality, it has been renovated to a nice standard, so is very clean and easy to keep clean too.

Future tenants will be sharing the apartment with a 30 year old female professional working in the arts.

The apartment itself has a really lovely environment, it's treated as a home. The current tenant has a pretty busy job so is looking for a couple who treat the place as a zen space to relax and unwind, whilst being respectful of each others space. Happy for people to have friends around of course, but this isn't really an after-party pad.

Current tenant is into art, good TV and film, music, current affairs (left-leaning), going to the pub with friends etc, looking for a couple who are fairly similar if possible.

The apartment has a good sized kitchen, a large and light communal living room which is a luxury (with access to a balcony), and a shared bathroom with a separate WC. The communal living room has a TV, two sofas and loads of shelving space for books, records etc.

The apartment is on the 3rd Floor and situated on the Peckham Rye end of Nunhead lane. Its 2mins walk to the park, 4mins to the nearest shops and no more than 15mins walk to Peckham Rye Station, Nunhead Station and East Dulwich Station. The location is a dream if you enjoy SE London.

The Room

£1020.00 p/m plus bills (for a couple sharing 1 large room) so £510 each p/m.

Very large double next to the living room and has a big window looking over Nunhead Lane.

Room comes furnished with a nice bed, bedside table, large wardrobe with lots of storage, shelves and built in shelves. All the furniture is in good condition.

Bills come to around £90 each per month. This covers council tax, heating, gas, electricity, and Internet.

Deposit is 1500 for a couple, so 750 each.

The landlord is a private landlord.

Ideally looking for a couple to keep the bills and rent cost down - but would consider a single tenant too for lower rent.
