After 4 happy years at the flat, our lovely housemate is moving out and a double bedroom has come available in our penthouse (well top floor flat) in Peckham, Queens Road.
The Room
A good-sized double room, lots of light, and then all the standard furniture (large wardrobe, double bed, and chest of draws). Doesn’t have a desk but could fit one in.
The Flat
We have a large open planned kitchen and living room with 2 very comfy (we won’t blame you if you accidentally fall asleep on them) sofas, a big tv, dining table, etc, and an abundance of house plants. We have a wrap-around balcony with views of the London skyline - your phone album will soon become full of sunset pictures you’ll never look at again.
House vibe
This flat is our home and we are looking for someone to treat it as theirs. We are tidy and clean and take pride In keeping it that way but also won’t care if you leave your washing up until the morning cause you just can’t be arsed or are too hungover to do it. We are social and enjoy having a glass of wine/takeaway together but equally, we spend time chilling in our rooms. We really enjoy having our friends over and would like you to do the same, but are respectful to each other and wouldn’t cross the line. We have a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks so she helps us to keep on top of things.
We are also good mates with our neighbors so we often go for drinks, meals, chill out at each other's flats, etc with them which in London is really rare and definitely a perk!
About us
I freelance in events and depending on the agency I'm with I either work from home (but from my room) or at their office. Jude works in travel logistics and is permanently office-based.
Not to sound like basic bitches, because there's a lot more to us, but that said we enjoy all the ‘normal’ stuff - Starting the week of healthy, ending it sat in front of the TV eating a takeaway, having a glass of wine (*bottle*) , going out for food, holidays/travel (finally it's legal!) reading, working out, hanging with friends etc.
You
Someone who is easy-going, clean, likes to join in and socialise with us but also has their own life and interests. Ideally, you will work full-time, not a big party animal but also someone who enjoys the occasional knees ups. Looking for a short-term (6 months) contract with the prospect of renewing should both parties be happy.
Location
Less than 1 min walk from Queens Road Peckham

The Area
Great Bakery over the road, loads of lovely cafes and bars a stone's throw away (loads of rooftop bars with overpriced watered-down cocktails), great restaurants, and plenty of supermarkets close by. Big open spaces (such as Telegraph Hill, Peckham Rye, and Burgess Park) within a 15 - 30 min walk.
