Cosy room in great house Peckham Rye

Ad ref# 4590214

Hey there!

We're looking for a cool new person for the really cute room in our modern town house, with all the delights of Peckham Rye on the doorstep.

Available from the 3rd/4th of September, the room is £650 + £154 bills PCM so £804 total (see breakdown at the bottom).

It would make a great home for someone looking for long term security and housemates that are are friends not just roomies. Ideally looking for another girl or queer person as we've found it to be the best dynamic over the years. Personality fit is really important - I've been around long enough to have a feel for who will click so I won't waste your time if I don't think it's a goer! (See the 'Is this you? bit below)

About the room.
A very cute double on the smaller side, looking out to the back of the house and communal garden. There is a double bed with storage draws, display shelf and set of draws plus a moosive walk in wardrobe. It's really calm and serene and would suit someone that likes to live in a uncluttered space but still needs storage.

Working from home
You could try for a desk in the bedroom, but that might be cramped, Two of us have been working from the living space at separate tables and it's worked well. Best thing is to view and discuss.

Who you'll be living with:
I'm Suzy and am a long term resident at the house which I manage for a friend. I'm a marketer for a tech consultancy and London born and raised. Usually found out at gigs or at dinner with friends. I love books, art, design plus a bit of TV (some cool, some trash!) A bit like a cat with a daft sense of humour ; )

Dani is 30 and works in communications. A livewire with a sassy sense of humour, Dani loves a glass of wine and a bit of Love Island. Often found out and about in south London catching up with friends in the neighbourhood We often eat together or make breakfast at the weekend or grab a drink locally.

About the space:
A modern town house, three stories, roomy and comfortable. It has a really calm feel to it, with space to hang out but also have your privacy when you want it.
The main living space is on the first floor, it has a great kitchen area with a kitchen island, dishwasher, double oven, microwave and coffee machine There’s ample relaxing space with two sofas and a dining table.
There is a large utility room on the ground floor with a washer and dryer and room to store a bike. We have access to a communal garden at the back.

The house vibe:
As this is my home long term, I'd like to find people looking for the same - somewhere that's more than a place to crash, and ideally for more than a year. The house is a great place to come back to and have someone to tell your tales to! I'm liberal minded, open, 420 and considerate. The house has always been a haven for whoever lives here, a chilled but social space where friends are welcome.

Is this you?
Ideally working full time , you've probably been in London a little while so have your own busy work life and network of friends, but are happy to meet new people and be part of a household. Not a party animal, but not straight edge either, you would like an open, social house where you can have your own space or join in as you wish. LGBTQ friendly and pro EU house, no tories ta.

Location:
Right next to the park, and in the cute 'village-y' bit with bars and a ton of great places to eat and drink right on the doorstep. Really great transport links, just under ten minute walk to the station and buses from across the street.

I look forward to showing you the house!
