Light and airy, high ceiling, furnished double room available in a friendly, terraced Plaistow house share with three professional housemates.

Great East London location, 15 minutes’ walk from Canning Town, Plaistow and Custom House Tube and DLR stations. Easy bus links to all three and to Stratford for the National Rail station into Liverpool Street and Westfield Shopping Centre. The house is in perfect commuting distance of Canary Wharf, The City and Westminster.

The room comes furnished with a double bed including mattress, wardrobe with drawers and curtains. There is a large living room with HD TV, full kitchen facilities with washing machine and large bathroom with shower bath. There is a large enclosed garden to the rear of the house.

There is ample space for working from home in the room with plenty of space for a desk and chair.

You will be sharing with 3 young professional housemates (2x female 1x male), with a current mix of working from home and travelling into Central London for work. We are a social, friendly household that enjoys occasional walks and eating and drinking together and socialising in the sitting room.

Your share of the house rent is £450 per month, with bills on top. This usually comes to between £500-550 per month. There is the option to club into a house Netflix account for £3 per month. Deposit is 5 weeks rent and comes to £560. The rental agreement ends in August 2021 though there are options for renewal.

We are looking for a clean and tidy housemate (cleaning is undertaken by the housemates and the house is kept tidy) that is friendly and social.

Short, COVID-secure viewings are welcome (masks worn at all times and sanitised hands) but we would prefer housemate interviews via zoom or skype etc. I can do remote or video recorded viewings too.

Permit parking is available from Newham Council, and there is an abundance of space on the street. Nobody at the house currently drives, so the first permit should be free of charge.
