Cosy (and unfurnished!) double room
We, that is Adriana and Elvira & Artur (a married couple), are looking for a new flatmate to move into our spare bedroom.
We are all professionals in our early 30s, working five days a week on a permanent employment basis with stable incomes and are hoping to find someone with a comparable and compatible lifestyle.
We have been sharing flats in this building since Summer 2017 and just moved into our current, recently refurbished flat in December last year. It comes with an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and some additional storage in the hallway. The building is owned by a private property company, well maintained and managed by a responsible and responsive team of people.
The current rent is £608, due on the 1st of each month and does not include any bills or other costs for shared cleaning and personal hygiene supplies.
Your room is located next to ours (that is Elvira’s and mine) facing south, lit by two large windows, comes unfurnished (with exception of the sofa-bed shown in the pictures), with a fitted wardrobe and overlooks our small balcony.
Location-wise, the flat is situated east of Queensway and surrounded by an overabundance of tube stations that can all be reached in less then 10 minutes (Queensway, Bayswater, Lancaster Gate, Paddington, Royal Oak).
Further, we have access to one big Waitrose, one medium sized Tesco two small Sainsburys, one little Waitrose and another small Tesco as well as to a Boots and Superdrug’s (all within 10 minutes of our location). There is also a healthy selection of other non-chain supermarkets and grocery stores.
As this flat is not rented out on a per room basis (i. e. it is essentially a “buddy-up”), we all are and feel jointly responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our shared spaces (the hallway, the kitchen and the bathroom) and clean according to a weekly rota system. Therefore, we try to keep things neat and tidy during the week and respect each other’s efforts by cleaning up after ourselves.
