Large double room in shared flat by the river in Rotherhithe (SE16). Available from the 1st of August 2022.

We have a beautiful room that needs filling with someone looking for a friendly, tidy home :) The building is a converted mill building on the banks of the river in the beautiful area of Rotherhithe. The building has a shared communal roof terrace with views of the river (see photo, perfect for drinks in the summer!), a bicycle store, a cactus greenhouse, a common room for private party hire, a laundry room and a jetty.

THE AREA
Transport links- 2 mins from Rotherhithe station (overground) and 10 mins from Canada Water (jubilee) or 12 min to Bermondsey (Jubilee). We are also close to the cycle superhighway that runs to London Bridge. You can walk to London Bridge in 25 minutes.

THE FLAT
It is a 4-bedroom flat, with a large south-facing shared living room and Juliet balcony onto a cobbled square with St Marys church, shared kitchen (2 fridge-freezers so 1 between 2), bathroom and a separate loo. The room itself is large enough for double bed. It is carpeted and has 3 built-in floor-ceiling wardrobes, large warehouse-style windows. The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress.
Not included in this bedroom (and for sale) : Topper mattress, Desk, Chair, BedsideTable, Pendants x2, Velvet, Curtains.

AMENITIES
The flat is next to the iconic Mayflower pub, we have a local store across from Rotherhithe station, a Sainsbury's & Tesco metro at Canada Water station. In the summer there is a pop-up cocktail bar at the Brunel Museum in the square.

ABOUT US
We are 3 females, from different parts of the world, working in the creative/arts/design industries who lead our own busy lives and also often spend time together in the living room catching up over a glass of wine or watching TV together. We are clean & tidy and respectful of each others' space.

ABOUT YOU
You are chilled, friendly and respectful to your flatmates. You would view the flat as a home and want to get to know the people you live with. You would be happy to join in with our cleaning rota (you clean the communal areas of the flat once per month) and leave the kitchen surfaces clear at the end of the day.

THE SERIOUS BIT
Rent is £680 and bills are £90 approx per month. This includes water, council tax, broadband, TV license, electric & heating. We also contribute to a kitty for shared items- bathroom & cleaning items etc
The deposit is 1 month's rent.

The flat will be available from 01/08/2022.

IMPORTANT: The reference checks process could take one or two weeks.
Make sure you have those ready.
An agent manages the flat and there will be a reference check process. You will be asked for:
