We have a single, affordable room to be available in our social share house in Shepherd’s Bush.

Enjoy winter in style and comfort in this spacious flat. The room is £490 pcm and comes furnished with a single bed, a set of drawers and a rack for drying your clothes. Not a party flat, but we do love a few drinks during a weekend lockdown. We are 5 minutes’ walk from multiple supermarkets and liquor stores on Uxbridge Road. There are multiple tube stations in walking distance, as well as Westfield London.

We have a friendly local cat who pops round for treats and cuddles every now and then. Each room gets their own fridge in the kitchen, loads of freezer space and a cupboard. There is two shared washing machines, one upstairs and one in the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need; oven, microwave, grill, hobs, toaster, kettle etc.
Our lounge-room is bright and spacious (huge by London's standards!) with plenty of couches for everyone so it's never a problem if we're all at home at once. While we all have our own things going on in with busy London life, we like to catch up for a laugh, glass of wine or movie whenever we're free- so we're really looking for someone who will call this place a home and not just a room :)
There is a cleaner that comes every Wednesday and does a deep clean (she’s a legend) but everyone cleans up after themselves anyway. The landlord is super responsive and friendly/ helpful, doesn’t randomly turn up and gets any issues sorted ASAP. There is a monthly house shop for shared basics but it is shared between all flatmates. We are about a 3 minute walk from a Co Op and other shops/ restaurants. The Princess Victoria pub is right on our doorstep, where they do good food, drinks and comedy/ open mic nights.
We are about 10-15 minutes walk from Westfield shopping centre, there is also a cheap gym up the road towards Acton (Kiss Gym).

The house is a mixture of Australians and Kiwis in our 20's, but please don't let that put you off if you're not antipodean either! Everyone is friendly and easy going. There are currently 7 housemates and we all enjoy a drink or two in the lounge but also happy to do our own thing too.

TRANSPORT
Wormholt Road is off Uxbridge Road and we are a 2 minute walk to the bus stop where you can catch almost any bus to Shepherds Bush Green/ Market/ Station, they run every couple of minutes. Alternatively, the walk is about 10 minutes. From Shepherds Bush market station you can get the circle line or Hammersmith and City line, from Shepherds Bush station you can get the central line directly into the city or the overground station is also directly opposite (trains to Clapham).

OTHER STUFF
Rent is £490 per month due on the 22nd of each month. Bills are approximately £20 per month (per person). Bond is £570. Due to the current situation we are happy to arrange a video chat and house viewing if you feel comfortable, PM me to arrange a viewing.
