En-suite dbl room nr City + parking M-F/full time

I’m looking for a lodger to share my 2 bedroom flat with me on the South Bank, just by the Globe Theatre, a short walk across Southwark/Millennium Bridge into the City. I'm open to considering a monthly let or a Monday-Friday let and to self-isolation for those travelling into UK and needing a base during that period.

I offer a quiet, tidy, clean, well-maintained hassle free apartment within the hub of the South Bank. There's borough market, Flat Iron Sq, Tate Modern and Globe Theatre on the doorstep.

The room is spacious and furnished (including bed linen and towels), includes a large in-built wardrobe with plenty of shelving and storage, a bedside table, a laundry bin and a private en-suite bathroom with a powerful shower, bath, toilet & sink. There's a table and chair and a shelving unit for anyone needing to work from home. I do have broadband with BT, it isn't (but shoudl be) 100%, infuriating, there are sometimes mini outages of 1-2minutes, particularly on a Monday morning, thought best to mention in case very important for work.

The flat has a private terrace with access from it into the raised communal, private courtyard area (the flat is on the 2nd floor).

Communal facilities: shared use of the kitchen which has a small table and chairs in it (so if self-isolating i'd suggest you use that table rather than the living room where i work). I use the living room for work, it is available for shared use after work. The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee grinder and Gaggia coffee machine to help kick-start the morning, a dishwasher, a washer/drier. There is 24hr concierge & security, and broadband internet. There is a car parking space if required. The parking is private, secure, underground.

The rent is £1200 a month –includes linen and all bills including council tax, but excludes any additional TV services and any landline calls you make in excess of line rental. £1000 security deposit required which is refundable. If you are a couple it is a 125% higher rent and deposit - £1500 per month, deposit is £1500. References required and my previous lodgers are happy to provide you with references about living with me and deposit return.

The arrangement is a lodger licence agreement for the room, with shared use of the kitchen, private terrace and the living room outside of working hours.
