Large Double Room Available Short Term

Room available for short term let until 3rd October.

Lovely large double room with no agency fees. The room is in a clean and furnished Victorian house in a quiet road. The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe, 2 side cupboards and table and chair if needed. The house is friendly and chilled out. The room has a wooden floor that may help anyone with allergies.

Less than 5 mins to walk to South Wimbledon tube for the Northern Line, which is 30 mins direct to central London. In normal service, the Northern Line is very reliable and operates a 24 hour service on Friday and Saturdays. TFL have frozen the tube prices until 2020, so it can be less than £3.30 one way into London for commuting. You'd also get a seat at this station even in the rush hour which you wouldn't get further up the line.

It's a 15 min walk to Wimbledon town centre for mainline and District tube lines or there are buses which go from the end of the road that are well connected.

At the end of the road there are small shops and supermarkets, and in 15 mins walk a choice of large shops and supermarkets.

Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Common and Wimbledon shopping are really great places to visit, and of course Wimbledon tennis.

Bills included and wireless broadband.

Parking permit can be applied for from Merton Council if needed. Parking costs £100 for 6 months approx. Half and full day visitor permits can also be purchased if need be.

This room has the added benefit of being able to meet before moving in which isn't usually possible with an agency managed flat share.

Also has a nice garden, useful for lock down, and the area also has nice parks nearby especially if you're now looking to escape the city.

For couples there would be an additional cost.
