Lovely room in friendly South-East London flat

The room

We are looking for a friendly female flat mate to join us in our cosy Southwark flat! We are lucky enough to live in an amazing location; right in the heart of South-East London and just a ten minute walk away from London Bridge and Waterloo tube stations.

THE FLAT
The flat has three bedrooms, a communal kitchen, toilet, bathroom and a balcony. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a gas cooker, oven, microwave and large fridge/freezer. There's plenty of cupboard space as well as cutlery, crockery, pots and pans that we share. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bathroom has a large bath, shower and sink. We also have a great balcony that overlooks the park and is perfect for the summer! There's plenty of storage space throughout the flat that we share to store suitcases etc. Although there's no living room, every room has either armchairs or a sofa so we have comfortable areas to hang out and we often chat in the kitchen.

THE ROOM
The room is fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, book shelf, lamp and small cabinet. It also has two comfortable armchairs so feels really homely. The room is lovely and sunny in the mornings, and looks on to the park so tends to be quiet.

THE LOCATION
The flat is in an incredible location and is certainly what makes the room such a bargain. It's a 30 second walk to Southwark tube which is on the Jubilee line, and is a ten minute walk to either Waterloo or London Bridge stations. Being in Zone 1 means it's easy to save a lot of money on transport which is a bonus. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes and theatres nearby along The Cut. Southbank, the Tate Modern, Borough Market and the Globe are all within a ten-minute walk away, and it's perfect if you just want to go for a walk or run along the river. Flat Iron Yard is also ten minutes away which is a cool food market with food trucks, indoor and outdoor bars - amazing in summer! There's a small Tesco and Sainsbury's less than 5 minutes away from the flat which is useful for food shopping. There also plenty of buses that you can take to go to larger supermarkets near Elephant Castle or Camberwell.

THE FLATMATES
Currently two girls live in the flat. Grace is 27 and designs training sessions for a talent consultancy on Borough High Street. Annaliza is 23 and organises events for a political information company based in the Shard. We both enjoy cooking, gyming, and Netflix - classic! We both do our own thing but also like to catch up over a glass of wine every now and again! We like the flat to be a nice environment to live in so tend to keep the communal areas clean and tidy. We are looking for a girl to join us who is happy to have a chat in the kitchen over dinner or wine, but has her own thing going on too.. As summer approaches we are also looking forward to being able to have drinks on the balcony!

Rent: £642.77 per month
Bills: £80 - £90 per month
Deposit: £850
Agency fee: £285

Bills include gas, electricity, internet and council tax which we sort out between us. You'll pay the deposit and agency fee before you move in, then rent is paid on 6th of every month.
