Double room in gorgeous modern flat available for let for a year (or 6 months minimum).
One of our housemates is moving back to Australia, and so we're looking for a third to take his place as we look to put another year on the lease (been here 18 months now).

Upstairs, the flat has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (you'll be sharing the bathroom with one other, JJ, see below).
Your bedroom gets lots of natural light with a floor-to-ceiling window, has 3 wardrobes, and a lot of other storage space. The bathroom is spacious, has a shower / bath combo.
Downstairs, we've got a large semi-open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen. If you work from home, we have two sets of workstations with monitors set up.
The flat is only a few years old, and is fantastically located just 100m from Brick Lane, making Shoreditch and Aldgate less than 10 mins' walk, and Hoxton, Tower Bridge and City of London less than 20 minutes. Our nearest stations are Liverpool St., Shoreditch High St. and Aldgate (all 8 mins walk).
Entrance is on the second floor, with an elevator when you need it. There's also a balcony / patio off of the master bedroom, which everyone in the flat is welcome to use whenever they need it.

I'm Liam, I'm 25, and work at a men's healthcare start-up. I like going to the gym, house music festivals, and losing all my disposable income on cryptocurrency. I'm currently training for a marathon, maybe this is my biggest regret. I also made the ridiculous decision (not a regret) to start a pan-Atlantic relationship two years ago, and so I travel quite a lot and tend to sub-let my room for maybe 3 months of the year... but only to friends or people we've heavily heavily vetted.
JJ's also 25, and grew up with me as we went to the same school. He works around the corner from the flat, for Amazon. He likes cooking (particularly beans), Tennis (he's a big Kyrgios guy), and is also big into his tunes (Fred Again's the current obsession).
As housemates and otherwise, we're respectful, thoughtful, fun, and have a good sense of humour. We're looking for someone who fits in well and who we're keen to hang out with, someone who is looking for an actual home rather than just somewhere to sleep at night!

We're waiting for a quote on the contract extension but current rent on the room is £990 per month, expecting that to go up by about £30-50... I'll update the price once I have it. Bills are not included, but I've locked us into a fixed rate for most of the next year so we shouldn't be as ****ed as most...!
Please don't sweat it if I don't reply until 22nd August, it's because I'm away and busy. I'll aim to get back to you by then.
Usually get a lot of interest in this room when we sublet it so drop us a little bit about who you are, and we'll take it from there.
