Double Room for Rent in SW9 - 7mins walk to tube

Hi,

We have a double room opening up in our 4-bed semi-detached Georgian house with a large garden in Stockwell, SW9.

The room is reasonably sized and comes with an ensuite (with a bath, sink & toilet - no shower). The room is furnished with a double bed (and newish Emma mattress!) and a very large built-in wardrobe and shelves. The desk in the photos is not included.

The house is about a 7-minute walk from Stockwell Tube station which is on both the Victoria and Northern Lines. Busses run from the end of our road to Westminster and Victoria in about 25 minutes, as well as to Brixton and Clapham in the other direction in 10-15 minutes. Brixton, Clapham and Battersea are all very much within walking distance. The house is very well connected for commuting and going out.

The rent is £711 + about £80 in bills per month. The security deposit is slightly less than one months rent. It is available from early January, and can be slightly flexible about dates within the first 1 - 2 weeks.

There is a large Lidl at the end of the road (a 1-min walk) and a gym no more than 5 minutes away as well. Also nearby is speciality Brazilian and Portuguese stores as well as numerous off-licenses, restaurants, takeaways etc.

One of our current housemates is moving out, leaving Charlie (me), Alex and Chris. We are all 28 and have been friends for years. Although we are sad to see her go we are looking for someone with who we can continue to enjoy sharing the house.

We all work from home, spending some time in the office on certain days.

We all lead separate lives but do enjoy spending time together in the evenings and on the weekend. Normally we eat together if we are in at the same time, taking turns to cook. We also go out together to eat, go to gigs and nightclubs etc when we can

We are really looking for someone who wants to socialise with their housemates and not just a room.
