Self-contained master bedroom, closest to the front door so you can come and go in private. Light and airy with large triple-glazed, south/west facing wall-to-wall windows with a view of outstanding natural beauty. The room is £880 per month for cash in hand (simply for convenience due to a slight foot injury that sometimes makes it difficult to get to the bank and stand in line for long periods in order to withdraw large amounts -- I buy and sell at auction and the auction house only accepts cash) otherwise £950 via bank transfer. Rent includes all bills, plus weekly cleaning of communal areas, fastest wifi, Virgin Media Cable TV (Premier Package) and Netflix

The room is tastefully furnished with a wall-mounted, ceiling-to-floor mirror which comes in handy when you're dressing to go out. It also has an art-deco style crystal chandelier, varnished hardwood floors and overlooks two large lakes, sailboats, swans, and 42-acres of wetlands which give us the cleanest air in London. To see more, google woodberrywetlands which is a wildlife sanctuary, part of the London Wildlife Trust, and home to more than 30-species of wild birds. If you like to wake up to bird song in the morning, this is the place for you. There's a path that goes around the lake where you can jog or just take a leisurely walk and enjoy nature. It's open to the public from 8-4. If you follow the path to the end it brings you to The Climbing Castle on Green Lane (there's a view of The Castle from your bedroom window). If you're into climbing and abseiling or would like to learn, The Climbing Castle has the biggest climbing wall in the UK.

The room also overlooks a large communal rose garden with apple and cherry trees and has a brick BBQ pit. The flat has amazing views of the London skyline, Canary Wharf, the City, the Shard, and the London Eye.

A glass and chrome bistro table with white leather bar-chair is situated by the window where at the end of the day, you can sit and unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the lake.

Share a pretty kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, and a separate toilet.

Downstairs there is free off-street parking and a secure bicycle rack.

Trendy, vibrant, Stoke Newington Church Street is nearby with its bars, pubs, restaurants, sidewalk cafes, boutiques and retro-shops. Clissold Park, Finsbury Park, and Springfield Park are also nearby.

Manor House (zone-2, Piccadilly line) tube is a 12-minute walk or a two-minute bus ride from the corner of our street (253 or 254 bus).

The other flatmate here is a friendly, easy-going, 35-year-old sound engineer who just moved at the beginning of April. My room is at the other end of the hall so you probably wouldn't see much of me. I am a work-from-home screenwriter and for this reason, I would prefer a quiet, self-contained person.
