I have a lovely double room in a light filled, clean and calm refurbished Victorian maisonette, where period features contrast with contemporary decor. An urban oasis of sorts, which I am happy to share with a considerate and friendly fellow full-time professional.

The double bedroom, situated on the second floor, is west facing and looks out on a row of Victorian terrace gardens.

The fully equipped kitchen and adjacent lounge are situated on the first floor. The shared bathroom is large with a bath and walk-in shower.

High speed broadband, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are included, as are utility bills and council tax. Cleaner and bike-shed rental are extra.

NEIGHBOURHOOD and AMENITIES
If you are in need of an urban and creative buzz, Church Street and Dalston Kingsland High Street are both 8 minutes away, with independent cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and music venues, along with the legendary Rio cinema.

Living here also gives you an easy access to a diverse range of happy making escapes to calm green spaces, open skies and water ways. Very close to home are Butterfield Green - a 2 minute walk away, with Clissold Park, Abney Park Cemetery and Hackney Down Park 8 minutes away. If you want to escape a bit further then there are always the canals, Hackney Marches, Walthamstow Wetlands, Victoria or Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

For sport and training there is Clissold Leisure Centre with a fully equipped gym, two swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, and more. All this is yours in a 5 minute walk west, and London Fields Lido a 30 minute walk east.

TRANSPORT
Canonbury, Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction Overground stations are all within walking distance (10-15mins).
There are frequent and regular buses to the City (Liverpool Street Station 30mins by bus), Waterloo, Victoria, East London and the West End.
