Friendly housemate for garden flat Streatham SW16

Double bedroom for rent

Hi, I have a gorgeous, spacious, ground-floor flat in Streatham. I'm looking for someone to rent one double bedroom which has two new mirrored/fitted double wardrobes, a brand new mattress and bed, and a new carpet also just fitted. There is also a separate toilet/bathroom (not quite ensuite, but for your use only) - also with brand new loo/sink/bath/shower etc just installed.

Good transport links from Streatham mainline (5 min walk) - Thameslink; or Streatham Common (10 min walk) - regular trains to Victoria. Plus numerous bus links to Brixton (25 mins), Tooting, Clapham etc connecting to Victoria and Northern underground lines. Just off the High Road, plenty of green spaces, bars, restaurants, pubs, leisure facilities and supermarkets.

The flat is sharing with me only - with a great kitchen (all mod cons), large living room and lovely big south-facing garden - and has just been extensively refurbished throughout. (There are 3 bedrooms, but the 3rd one is a single for the occasional sleepover guest.)

I am a professional and have worked in the music industry for most of my career and still love going to gigs, listening to music, new bands etc. I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable, looking for preferably one other like-minded female to share my home. My previous flatmate stayed for over 5 years (moved out when she bought her own place), and the one before that, too. I count them as two of my very good friends now. So I'd like someone who likes a chat, a glass of wine or two, some dinner now and again - and has their own life/does their own thing, too. Someone who is looking for a home, not a 'house'. The flat is part of a 3-storey Victorian house, and the neighbours upstairs are pretty friendly, too - they pop in occasionally to drink wine, share food, help out with the garden, generally catch-up. So a very friendly, happy house.

Rent is £750/month plus bills (gas, elec, water). Council Tax and wireless broadband are included.

The room is available immediately - I'm looking for the right person, so I'm flexible - and in no great hurry.
