You can easily commute into Central London by many different buses to Tooting, Kingston, Brixton, etc. or take a train ride less than 5 mintues into Balham underground, 20 minutes into London Bridge, Victoria, Battersea, Clapham Junction etc. You can easily get connected to overground stations too to Hackney and beyond.
