A newly-refurbished room with private shower

This is a warm home shared with 2 other female professionals, right next to the lovely Mayow Park. We share jokes but also deeply respect one another’s space and privacy. All bills (Council tax, water, electricity, gas and high-speed fibre broadband) are included in the price of the rent.
Your bedroom and private shower room are on the ground floor along with the communal kitchen, lounge and two gardens. The shared kitchen has ample cupboard space, washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. In the lounge we don’t really watch TV so don’t feel the need for one, but there’s nothing to stop you getting one in your own room. All other bedrooms and second bathroom are upstairs.
Your bedroom itself has just been equipped with brand-new furniture - including a new queen-size bed - and has also only just been fitted with a modern radiator. All windows are double-glazed, and your bedroom window overlooks the back garden. Your shower room has a ‘rain’ style shower, and includes built-in cupboards which provide generous storage space.
The house has both front and back gardens, which both have seating, and adjacent Mayow Park has tennis courts, a café and is popular with runners. The much bigger Crystal Palace Park is also about 15 minutes away. Nature lovers will also appreciate nearby Wells Park, Dulwich Park and the unique Sydenham Hill Woods. The house is about 10 mins walk from Forest Hill in one direction, and Penge East in the other. Sydenham station itself is on the same road as the house, and has direct rail services to London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction, as well as Overground to Shoreditch, Canada Water, Croydon.
Parking is available on the road, and there are also a variety of buses and night buses. Sydenham High Street, at the end of the road, has everything from butchers, bakers and health food shops, to a post office, dry cleaners and late night Tesco. A much larger Sainsbury’s Superstore is also 12 min walk away down at Bell Green, and nearby Forest Hill and Crystal Palace Triangle are great areas to go out at night with their bars, pubs and restaurants. Other local attractions include Dulwich Picture Gallery, Crystal Palace Antiques Market and the fabulous Horniman Museum.
