LOOKING FOR A NEW HOUSEMATE!!! 12 month contract. The room is available from the 22nd July. Current housemate is moving due to the fact she will be working from home until after 2021 and doesn’t need to be in London until then so she is moving back home.


Little bit about me. Im a 31 year old professional working in marketing in central London. Im very chilled and quiet, love to have a good laugh with a cup of tea, not much of a drinker or party animal, I spend a lot of time in the gym and binge watching Netflix at the weekends is a real treat. I love rock climbing, a CrossFit class here or there, going to the movies, exhibitions, theater and other shows.

The other house mate is 25 years old, works for a charity organization in the city, but due to covid is working from home until September. She is friendly, likes a good chat, but also likes her own space. She lives a glass of wine, reading and a day at the pub.

A bit about the house & location. It’s a two story 1920 recently renovated semi detached house. We have a big back garden with a grassy area and a patio. The house has an open plan fully fitted kitchen, separate bathroom and two toilets. There is also a loft where you can store all your suitcases etc. We have a small spare room that has a futon bed for guests if anyone ever wants/ needs to stay over. On daily basis it is more used as a laundry room for freshly washed clothes during the winter. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary appliances and utensils - blenders, 2 fridges, dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster + all dishes, cups, pots etc. there is good WiFi, we have Netflix, Amazon in the kitchen. The house is based between Sydenham Hill and Forest Hill stations both within less than 10 minutes walk. You can easily get into London Bridge within 25 minutes on the Southern rail and you also have the overground line which will give you quick access to the city and east London. The road is very quiet and residential with minimum traffic and noise. There are various cafes and shops within walking distance. Big sainsburys in Forest Hill, few 24/7 corner shops, boots, superdrug, pubs, tesco express & a lidl.

The room is located on the second floor facing the road. It’s a decent size double bedroom that comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table, small bookcase, large chest of drawers, mirror and a clothing rack. The room is actually bigger than it seems in the photos, you need to see it for yourself. There is also room in a cupboard outside the room where you can store your bedding and towels. We have a coat rack downstairs and a wardrobe for coats and space for shoes.

What we are looking for. We are looking for someone tidy, quiet, respectful and friendly. This is under no circumstances a party kind of household, so anyone who wants to be up drinking every other night having parties and load of people over making load of noise probably won’t be the right match. For us this is a home, me and the current house mates share everything from food to utensils to bills and pitch in when something needs replacement etc. So I we are looking for someone who actually wants to build some sort of relationship with us and will happily become a part of the house hold and treat the house as their home not just a room to crash in.

Single person only the rent is 650£ a month all bills included.

You will be signing a contract directly with the landlords, so no pesky agents involved. A deposit, reference and credit check will also be required.
