SE26 double room - 2min walk to Penge East Station

Attic bedroom to rent with all bills included in Sydenham SE26. Two minutes walk from Penge East with trains to Victoria and Blackfriars. Ten minutes walk from Sydenham with trains to London Bridge and Highbury & Islington Overground line.

The area is also served by two night buses. The 176 from Tottenham Court Road and the N3 from Oxford Circus both go to Penge.

The house is ten minutes walk, or a five minute bus, from Penge and Sydenham high streets. Penge has a Lidl and Sainsbury's supermarket, and Sydenham has a Lidl. Both have all standard shops, salons, takeaways, etc that you'd expect on a South London high street.

There are some hidden gem restaurants and a good selection of pubs and taprooms in the local area. It is also a ten minute walk to Crystal Palace park, and a short bus ride in to Crystal Palace triangle.

In terms of the house, it's a large terraced house with five bedrooms (although only ever four occupants). There is a large kitchen, and a large living/dining area. There is one shared bathroom. There is also a patio and garden at the back. There is no drive or designated parking space, but it is a free parking street.

As housemates everyone is very laid back. We're all professionals and have reasonably busy lives, so don't live in each others pockets. We do however periodically try and arrange something like a pub night, a Cards Against Humanity night in the house, or a barbecue in the garden during summer.

The room is technically rented unfurnished, all of the furniture in the picture is mine. If you do not have any furniture to bring however, then the bed, bookcase, drawers etc can be negotiated.
