Large, bright room in sociable Tooting home

One of our housemates is sadly moving out and we are looking for an easy-going housemate to fill her room!

//The room//

The room is big and bright, and looks out over Figges Marsh Common. It comes furnished with a double bed, large open wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.

//The house//

The house is a spacious terrace house with 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen (+ separate utilities room), a large bathroom (+ separate WC), a dining room/study at the front of the house, and an airy living room at the back of the house, leading out onto a small gravel garden.

//Transport and amenities//

- 15 minute walk to Tooting Broadway Station (or a 5-10 minute bus, which come every couple of minutes);
- 3 minute walk to Tooting (overground) Station, which has a direct train to Blackfriars;
- 5 minute walk to a big Lidl, 2 minutes to a small Tesco;

Tooting Broadway is a great area. It has a few hip bars and brunch spots, the famous ‘Curry Corridor’ and the Tooting/Broadway Markets, which are perfect for dinner or drinks and seem to have grown a new little restaurant every time we visit.

//The housemates//

You’d be living with two males and a female, aged 26 – 29. We’re all young professionals who are reasonably busy Monday – Friday but often cross paths in the evenings over a bit of food and Netflix. If people are up for it, we might get dinner together in Tooting or do a Sunday evening pub quiz. We enjoy having friends over every now and again (looking forward to some BBQs when the weather warms up), although we’re not a party house and mainly enjoy a peaceful place to relax.
