Homely room in Turnham Green

The Room:
Lovely and cosy double room with in built wardrobe, fire place and light filled window. Large queen sized and comfortable bed. The room has a homely feel, high ceilings and scope to make your own.

The House/ flat:
Maisonette in a great location. Two bedrooms, spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, two bathrooms (one en-suite in my room and an additional one with bath/shower). There is a small but delightful ‘garden’ area with plants and space to have a cup of tea! The flat has fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine (no dryer), wireless internet and smart tv. There is a secure alleyway at the back of the property and space for a bike to be kept if needed.

The Area:
10 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station (District Line) and Chiswick High Road. 15 minute walk from Acton Central Overground. Other nearby stations are Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush, Chiswick and Chiswick Park. Good bus routes into town. Chiswick has a lovely villagey feel. There are numerous shops and restaurants within easy reach for yummy brunches, drinks and dinner and the area feels safe. There are nearby Farmers Markets on weekends, and the river is not far away.

Me:
I am a 25 year old full time worker in the travel industry who is low-key and likes to come back in the evenings to a home, and not just a place to rest my head. I take pride in my house and as a new home-owner still have plans to decorate further and buy more furnishings. I love travelling, exploring London and it's off the beaten track coffee shops and cooking is a big passion of mine which I do in my spare time. I spend quite a few weekends out of London, so there is potential for my flatmate to enjoy their own space then.

You:
I am looking for someone who wants to live in a home and would like to meet you first to see if we would get on and be a good fit as housemates and even friends! I like a good balance between chatting and socialising, but also enjoying some peace in the evenings. Someone who is not likely to be out late partying all the time, but happy for friends to come over and to be social. I would love for the flat to become your home as much as it is mine.
