Master Bedroom in Walthamstow 3-bedroom House

Hi, we're looking for 1/2 new housemates to join this beautiful house in Walthamstow. Couples are welcome. We've lived here for three years now and it is easily one of the nicest house and locations we’ve ever had in London.

10 mins walk to Blackhorse Horse Road (Victoria line and overground), 5 mins to St James’ street station (overground to Liverpool st in 15 mins), and a 15 min walk to Walthamstow Central (Victoria line and overground). Victoria Line has 24 hour tubes on Friday and Saturday nights so easy to get home!

The wonderful Walthamstow village for nice pubs and restaurants is also around a 20 minute walk away, as is Walthamstow Wetlands.

There are loads of handy shops nearby with Walthamstow market at the end of our street for fresh fruit and veg, a Lidl and a Sainsbury’s. We’re also next door to Crate, with food and independent shopping outlets just 5 minutes away.

You'd be sharing with Ipek, who teaches children coding, at the moment from her bedroom due to covid restrictions.
You will also be sharing with Alvy, a 12 year old senior feline who sleeps a lot. We all like to cook nice meals and spend most of our weekends here, or exploring the local area. We have had the occasional pre-lockdown party and are always happy for friends to come over (when restrictions are lifted!), overall the house is pretty chill during the week.

The first bedroom is the master bedroom, and could also accommodate a couple. This is the largest bedroom in the house, with a bay window and lots of natural light. It has ample wardrobe and storage space and shelves.

The house has three bedrooms, a through living room, a big separate kitchen and most importantly a really nice garden.

We have a big communal kitchen which opens out onto the garden and a large double living room where we can entertain for dinner, play boardgames at the table or just hang out. The garden gets lots of sun and we’ve been pretty successful in growing veggies over the past three summers. Parking is available outside on the street with a permit from the council. For cyclists the Q2 runs right outside our house into London, and the garden is big enough to store a number of bicycles.

We're looking for people who are relaxed and easy-going and who are looking for a home to live in and who would be happy to join as a house, usually for a meal, although we're all pretty independent during the week.

Magda and Robert (bedroom 1) can be more flexible, but wouldn't be moving before early December either.

The deposit goes into a government scheme.

Bills are approx £75 month for utilities: Water, electricity, gas and council tax. This could change depending on how many people move in. Internet is in my name so will need to be changed or transfered. if you have an internet package you need to bring with you this could work.

Couples are welcome of course. the price would be an extra £50 per month.

We rent through an agency that manages the property and will carry out referencing for new tenants.
