Huge, en suite studio-style room in our home

- - About the room - -
We have a large, self-contained studio style room to rent in our renovated Victorian terraced house. The room makes up most of the ground floor of our home and includes a mini kitchen and dining area, large en suite bathroom, fittings and furniture. The entrance to our home is shared, but the studio would be your living area. You can also use our utility room with washer and dryer. Rent includes all bills, broadband and a fortnightly room clean. Accessibility: the room is on the ground floor of our home, however please note that the walk-in shower is raised by about 15cm from the floor.

- - The property - -
We live on a quiet street close to plenty of shops to pick up groceries and other essentials. Blackhorse Road tube is a 13 minute walk away, and Lloyd Park is 10 mins in the other direction. We're a 20 minute walk to Walthamstow High Street, and within stumbling distance of Walthamstow's new "beer mile". Walthamstow Wetlands and the marshes are a 10 minute walk from us, or a short run.

- - The household - -
I live with my husband Yoel and our small, friendly dog, Peach. We own the house and have spent a lot of time lovingly renovating it. Yoel works in finance tech (from home 3-4 days per week) and I'm a midwife.

We enjoy good food, eating out, yoga, meditation and travel. We have dinner parties from time to time but like to have a clean, tidy, peaceful home. This is a queer-friendly household. We keep a vegetarian home and ask that anyone staying with us respects this and does not bring any meat into shared spaces. Dog lovers are a must! We tend to have lodgers who are pretty independent, but who enjoy a chat and a shared meal/drink every now and again :)
