The house is in a good Transport hub - lots of ways to commute to work or leisure activities:

Walk - many options of ways to travel from the house within good walking distance - see below for details. (i sometimes walk the whole way there whereever it is in London - but i am a keen walker!)

Bicycle - as the house is 10 mins from the River Thames there are great cycle paths and opportunities to ride for pleasure or commute by bicycle.

Mainline train stations: Clapham Junction - 10 mins by bus/30 walking (my favourite way)
Earlsfield station 20 mins walk - 15 mins through a park (lovely commute)
Wandsworth Town - 15 mins walk through town shopping centre - great for a supermarket shop on way home

Tube stations: Southfields 8 mins walk through quiet back roads

Bus - 2 mins walk away at end of road - one direct to Victoria Station, Clapham Junction

Shopping Facilities - 5 mins walk from main shopping centre (another lovely walk acorss a park) to Southside with the following amendities:

Other London Theatres - Southbank (National Theatre by Waterloo Station (30 mins - a mixture of mainline train and walking only as 10 mins to Waterloo from Earlsfield)
