Single room in a homely house, located on a quiet, leafy Wandsworth street. It is available from 1 July.

Our home has all mod cons, a great location, just minutes from excellent bus and tube (Southfields station 10 minutes walk) links, Southside shopping centre, cinema and a host of great amenities, including parks, sports centres, gyms etc.

The house: Spacious and tidy, with a neat, well-fitted kitchen/dining featuring a heap of handy labour-saving devices, cosy lounge and bathroom. We have handy side access for storing bikes too.

We also have a lovely little back garden; a modest oasis perfect for mindful contemplation, bird-watching and al fresco eating on sunny days.

Housemates: We are a mix of nationalities and are working professionals.

Our interests are varied but we all enjoy a bit of culture, music, cooking, sports, socialising, travel and generally rambling around London.

We are all friendly but respect each other's space and privacy. Getting together occasionally for food and drinks is certainly something we enjoy - but we are essentially a quiet home and not a party house.

Rent: The rent for the room is £400 per month, plus a share of the usual bills (Council Tax, gas/electricity, water, TV licence, broadband) which, combined, amounts to approximately £110-150 per month (this will likely increase in winter, unfortunately). A deposit of £560 plus work reference is also required. We contribute to household consumables as needed.
