Lovely double room in 2 bed near Clapham Junction!

I am looking for a friendly new flatmate to move in to a double room in a lovely two bedroom flat near Clapham Junction.

The flat is located just off Wandsworth Common with a door to door bus to either Clapham Junction or Tooting Bec tube station in about 7 minutes, or a 15-20 minute walk. We are a short walk to several small Sainsburys, along with all the major shops, restaurants and bars of Clapham Junction and Northcote Road.

The flat is bright and airy in the summers and cosy and warm in the winters. It has been recently modernised throughout with a spacious kitchen and separate living room, a bathroom with a shower over a tub, communal storage spaces and a small balcony (secure space for a bicycle if needed). The flat is furnished with the usual mod-cons (dishwasher, washing machine etc) and the bedroom itself includes a double bed, a large double wardrobe and a double chest of drawers. The landlords renovated the flat to live in themselves but had to move for work, so the spec is great and they are quick to address any requests as they continue to take pride in their home. I’ve been in the flat for two years and have loved it!

I’m a programme manager for the NHS (Mon-Fri, with several days working from home). My job keeps me fully occupied during the week so my evenings are fairly quiet – cooking (if you can call it that) after the gym and debating which Netflix show to start next – and I’d be looking to live with someone with similar patterns. I live a fairly active lifestyle – I love my crossfit and generally like to get outdoors as much as possible on the weekends. Otherwise I’m in to all the usual things – plenty of socialising with friends, exploring the latest restaurants or shows, and crossing travel destinations off the list.

Keeping the flat clean and tidy, and feeling at ease in a quiet and comfortable home is really important to me. I’d love to live with someone upbeat, kind and considerate, who I can get on well with and share a good laugh. But at the same time respect that we need our own space and down time.
