Hi lovely SpareRoomers,
I’m looking for a friendly new flatmate to replace myself in our charming 3 bedroom flat in Wandsworth Town.
This is such a bright and welcoming flat and it truly is a home. I'm only leaving as Covid has changed things for me, job-wise, and I'll be moving in with my partner. I'm sorry to go, but I know that this room will make a wonderful new home for the right person.
The flat:
The flat has a large fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room (complete with super comfy couch), three bedrooms and a separate bathroom and toilet. Everything is clean and well-looked after. Hands down the best flat I’ve ever snapped up a room in.
We're looking for a woman preferably mid 20s to 30s who would like to treat their house as a home and be happy to pitch in, keeping the place clean and tidy. The neighbours are pretty quiet and a bike shed is available, if needed.
Location:
Awesome. Five minute walk to Wandsworth Town station, ten minute bus (or twenty minute walk) to Clapham Junction. Two bus stops are a minute away; very handy for those extra few minutes of snoozing.
The river, a Sainsbury’s Local, Wandsworth Common, Southside Shopping Centre, cafes/pubs (and the most amazing Thai takeaway) are within a 5-10 minute walk too.
The room:
The bedroom itself is a great double with plenty of room (and storage), gorgeous non-street facing windows and comes fully furnished. If you're working from home, there is space for a desk in the room itself or the living room is available.
Flatmates!
Natalie and Mercedes are super down to earth and enjoy all the good stuff: catching up with friends, yoga, wine, good food and music. Natalie works in IT for a fashion company and is a wannabe wine and yoga enthusiast. Mercedes is a midwife and enjoys cooking and movies.
We all like to do our own thing but enjoy a good chat or film together when the mood strikes. During lockdown we’ve enjoyed a wine or two (or several) on the couch and BBQs on the green at the front of our building.
The financials:
Rent is £640 and bills are £75, in total £715 a month. This includes; gas, electric, WIFI, TV licence etc. Leftover money from bills goes to the communal kitty for cleaning supplies.
Move in date:
I'm flexible with the move in date, so definitely feel free to enquire. These are strange times!
If this sounds like your new home, send us a message with a bit about you!
Kindest,
Sara
