Our modern, canal side home is Zone 1/2 Central/East London.

Close to Wapping, Shadwell and Tower Bridge Stations. We are 5 mins walk to Waitrose, local gyms, a variety of famous pubs, St Katherines Dock, and Wapping High Street. It’s a beautiful, quiet-yet-buzzing, safe area, right on the river with lots of green spaces; whilst being very close to the City, Docklands, London Bridge etc.

We are a couple who work in the arts; a Producer and a Stage Manager. We live in a self-contained apartment on the top floor of the house with our own amenities, but use the Kitchen downstairs from time to time for dinner parties. 2 bathrooms (shower and bath), kitchen and living room are shared by you and one other lodger (who's been with us for 3 years) works in the city, and he’s lovely. We are looking for a sociable, tidy and respectful lodger to join our home.

We also have a four-legged housemate called Milo, he is 9 months old (Labrador X) so loves to play and walk. He is very loving, very intelligent and very cuddly, but please only get in touch if you are comfortable around young dogs. He does not go into bedrooms and is crate trained.

Everything is included! All bills, as well as Super-Fast Fibreoptic Wifi, council tax and a house Netflix account. A cleaner comes once a fortnight to clean all communal areas. We used to run the house on Airbnb so it hopefully has everything you could possibly need: smart TV in the room, desk for WFH, wardrobe, ottoman storage bed and all kitchenware/appliances ... slow cooker, air fryer, cocktail shakers, juicer ... you name it!

There is a small garden (with fire pit, sun loungers and festoon lighting) as well as a garage/utility space that can be used for extra storage should you need it.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the property however we are not averse to smoking providing you are tidy and happy to smoke in the garden. Vegan/Veggie dietary preferences are of course welcome, but we are a food loving household and eat everything including meat. .

We are a sociable household, but we do have quite busy schedules. When we can, we enjoy going out for meals together (massive foodies), walks, cocktails and the occasional film/games/pub quiz nights.
