Staying aboard you will have your own private self contained apartment with double room, en-suite WC with living space in a beautiful houseboat moored at a peaceful, modern and secure marina in Wapping.

The separate bedroom has a king-size bed fitted with quality linens and a full length mirror. The adjacent private WC has basin and shaving mirror. An iron and ironing board is available for use.

The bathroom has a large bath with shower attachment. Cotton bath sheets and hand towels are provided.

Access to your cabin is via the forward deck (which is great to sit out on in the spring, enjoy the view, have drinks and BBQ - weather permitting!) The utility area has a washer/dryer. The budget includes a weekly clean.

The living space has DVD player, stereo with record player. WiFi is also included throughout the barge.

The compact galley includes a hob, fridge/freezer combi oven/microwave, kettle, toaster and refrigerator.

The barge is full height throughout and is heated by a clean burning stove and supplementary electric radiators for the coldest months.

Access to the moorings is via a fob controlled security gate. There is a full-time moorings manager who will take receipt of packages and distributes mail to the boats. You will need to cross over the gap between the pontoon and barge. The moorings is on the tidal Thames and so the barge does move with the river traffic as it passes which is more noticeable in the afternoon.

The owners have an self contained cabin in the rear section of the barge and will be available to provide assistance and undertake all the maintenance and sort any issues that might arise.

The barge is ten minutes walk from Tower Hill Underground and Wapping Overground stations. Wapping also has bike hire stands and is an ideal place to pick up morning taxis.

The area is a quiet and safe residential neighborhood with excellent local pubs, Italian and fish restaurants. St Katherine Docks has a good selection of bars and restaurants. There is a Waitrose supermarket within five minutes walk. There is a good local sport center and a Fitness First within 2 minutes jog.

The houseboat is comfortable and perfectly located with unbeatable views.
