Hey! I'm a current tenant in a huge house in Barons Court, situated less than a minute's walk to the Barons Court Tube - less than 10 minutes on the tube to South Kensington and less than 20 minutes to Central London.

It's home to a friendly and sociable group of young professionals, post-grads & PhDs (no undergrad students), all in our twenties. Included in our rent are all bills & WiFi; cleaning of communal areas four times a week; regular socials; and all of the house's features (two large lounges with 50" TVs, pool table room, table football, free laundry and dryers, patio/garden with tables & BBQ). While each kitchen/corridor is only shared with 5-6 others, the setup allows you to meet 60+ other both private and social young professionals within the building, so you can easily keep your privacy when you want to, but also freely join in with dinners, movie nights and other events in the main lounges if you wish to.

So it's a great place to be if you're relatively new to London and wants a ready-made social life, or if you simply want to take advantage of all the other perks of the place (bills, cleaners & consumables; communal area features and a minute walk to main-line Picadilly & district).
