Double room

Double room (for one person preferably, we could consider a couple) in a friendly houseshare. The room is in a 2-floor semi-detached house with huge communal areas and an amazing garden. £550 per month.(single use) £750 (couple)

The room is available from 2 March 2021, but the move in date is flexible (the latest the 10th of March)

We are preferably looking for someone who is in full-time employment.

The room:
- Quiet room at front of house on upper floor
- View of street
- Fully-furnished with double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe.

The house: 2 storey, semi-detached house in a quiet residential area.
- Communal areas are huge.
- Big kitchen with 2 fridges, all mod cons, lots of cupboard space and dining table.
- Large living room with 2 sofas, desk, TV, wi-fi, patio doors leading into the garden.
- Huge garden - great for summer BBQs or working out at home. We also have a full size ping pong table.
- 1 large bathroom upstairs with full size bathtub.
- Second toilet downstairs
- Garage for storage
- Off-road parking

The housemates:
- We are an anti-racist and pro LGBTQ household.
- In the other three rooms are 3 professionals.
- 2 housemates are currently working from home
- All of us have usually have busy work and social lives, but as we have to stay at home most of the time now, we enjoy hanging out together, whether it's just having a quick chat in the kitchen, cooking/gardening together, communal Zumba classes in the garden, having movie nights, playing Uno or having some drinks and a sing along to Britney on a Saturday night.
- We all contribute to keeping the house clean and tidy and have set up a cleaning rota..

The area:
- Quiet residential area with the wonderful Gladstone Park (tennis courts, outdoor gym, good hills for running) just two mins walk away.
- Great local pub, nice cafes and deli, good independent cinemas close by. Kensal Rise / Notting Hill / Kilburn / West Hampstead are all a short walk / bus ride away.
- Great transport links - it's easy to get almost anywhere from this house.
- 10 mins walk to Willesden Green tube (zone 2), 7 mins walk to Dollis Hill (zone 3). Jubilee line - 13 mins to Bond Street, 18 mins to Waterloo, 4 mins to West Hampstead (interchange with London Overground / Thameslink).
- Good night bus provision and Night Tube

- We can also offer remote viewings via zoom if preferred.
