Location:
The house is an extremely well-situated property, 350m from Wimbledon Tube, Mainline, Tram and Bus stations. Wimbledon is a hub station which makes it an excellent location for getting to other parts of London e. g. 20 minutes overground to Waterloo by train. There are loads of local amenities including 4 Supermarkets within 5mins walk (Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose and Marks and Spencer), numerous shops, restaurant, pubs, Odeon and Curzon cinemas, plus Centre Court shopping centre. Nearby there are several local parks in a quiet, leafy and safe neighbourhood. Wimbledon Village the Village and Common are a short bus (10mins) or gentle 30min walk up the hill.
The House: It has a fully equipped communal kitchen with breakfast area, range cooker with 3 ovens and seven burners. We have a wall-mounted electric fan oven, Microwave, and two dishwashers. There is a dedicated exterior Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a separate spacious lounge and dining room. There are 3 shared bathrooms and two separate toilets.
Outside:
Large Patio and maintained garden (28 x 10m). Bikes can be stored securely outside in a locked secured area. We have an outside covered Gym with lots of equipment. We’re also installing an 8 person sauna in the next couple of weeks.
The Room: The room is a double room on the ground floor with own wardrobe room and own ensuite bathroom. It opens out on the garden and has a patio space just outside onto the lawn. There is Queens size double bed, and good storage. Furnishings may be altered by agreement.
How the House works: The house is our old family home. It is run by Seb and Fabian. We are brothers and both work as Doctors in London. We’re friendly, down to earth and we have run the house as a rental for the last 6 years.
Bills Included: Council tax. Sky TV and Wifi in the price of the room.
Bills Excluded: Water, electricity, heating is excluded from the rental price because they vary across the season. Housemates pay a fixed contribution which we review and adjust based on the actual meter readings.
House Essentials: a contribution towards cleaning kit and other essentials e. g. dishwasher salt split between tenants when required.
Cleaning: We have a cleaning rota.
Housemates: Young Professionals. A mixture of couples and single occupants. All friendly and relaxed 20s to early 30s. Everyone is relaxed.
Pets:
We have a Sphinx cat living with us called Olaf.
