King bedroom with ensuite available in a a friendly, fully equipped house just 10 minutes walk from the station about 30 mins to the city. Ideal for someone who works from home and wants easy access to London but with more space and greenery.
We're looking for someone easy going, clean and considerate and offer the room on a monthly rolling basis, as although we are not looking for very short term lodger we appreciate stuff changes quickly at the moment.

The room

The room is located on the middle floor and at the front of the house. It's a new build 4 bed, 3 storey terraced house - so you would be on the middle floor which you will have to yourself.
It is fully furnished with a king bed with memory foam mattress, three door wardrobe with mirror, set of drawers and bedside table. It has lots of natural light with two floor to ceiling windows. There is still more than enough space for your own furniture such as a desk or sofa etc if required.
The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink, with mirror, shaving socket and light, and heated towel rail.

The house

The ground floor has a living room with 2 large sofas, so plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large dining table to seat 6, and plenty of spare storage. There's also a Nespresso machine which you can bring pods for.
You will have access to a very green garden with sociable seating, as well as access to the balcony overlooking the garden. There is a large landing by the balcony with more seating and space. Therefore there is space to be alone as well as together.
As a new build the house is warm and clean with new fittings and fixtures to a high spec. Windows are double glazed and well fitted, retaining the heat.
There is no allocated parking, but on our side of the road, and some back roads, parking is free with no permits.

- 10 minute walk to Enfield Town - overground to Liverpool Street (30 mins, via Bethnal Green, London Fields, Hackney Downs)
- 10 minute walk to Enfield Chase - National Rail to Old Street and Moorgate and easy links to Kings Cross (30 minutes)
- Chase Farm Hospital 20 minute walk so ideal for medical trainees or employees.

Local area and amenities

- Beautiful green spaces. There is a canal very close-by which is nice to walk through to Enfield. Takes you to Town Park, a large green space. Forty Hall is an estate approx 20 minute walk away or a nice cycle ride.
- Chase side is a strip of local shops, hairdressers, cafe's, a bakery and take away's just around the corner.
- 3-4 good pubs in walking distance.
- Tesco superstore less than 5 minute drive/15 minute walk.
- Enfield Town has everything else, LIDL, Iceland, a large M&S, a department store, TKMAXX, other clothes shops.
- 'Crown Retail Park' 10 minute drive has lots more including ALDI, Sainsburys etc.

About us

We are a young professional couple - one of us commutes to Old Street daily, and the other works from home with occasional trips to the city. We tend to venture out to countryside for walks/bike rides when possible, making the most of being on the outskirts of London.

Rent

Singles - £700pcm, includes all bills and broadband.
Couples - £900pcm, includes all bills and broadband.

The rent will be a monthly rolling contract. Deposit is one month's rent. Rent is paid in advance.
