Modern flat situated on 2nd floor/top (ground, first & 2nd floor only). Recently decorated bedroom & communal areas. Central heating. Weekend viewing only.

Person who is working full-time e. g. contractor or professional that works during the week and goes home at weekends but flexible from Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday extra nights can be negotiated at an extra cost depending on availability of bedroom on weekend.

All bills, general household products, bedding and cleaning of bedroom at weekend including washing the bedding (Sunday) included in rent, if required. Bedding and towels supplied. Washer/dryer and microwave/convection oven available for use. Broadband, Plusnet fibre optic available.

Annual gas inspection undertaken. by British Gas, carbon monoxide detector in flat plus fire alarms and heat sensors. Flat has a security alarm.

2 small pet birds in living/kitchen/dining area.

Communal area
Living room, kitchen and eating area open plan. If you need space to store food on shelves or fridge/freezer, no problem as can be arranged.

Bedroom
Painted in blue, recently decorated so clean and fresh. Told very comfortable bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers & corner cabinet in pine. Fold down table and chair. Bed is single but can double up as wheel out extension to make small double that is currently stored under bed but would make walking area much smaller. Only things in wardrobe is spare bedding and nets for the window in your room. Kettle provided but more than welcome to use communal area, just put it there for your convenience.
Bathroom
Shared bathroom with 1 other on day to day basis. Shower in bath and quite powerful. Combi boiler in flat so no need to wait for water to heat up.
Communal area
Living room, kitchen and eating area open plan. If you need space to store food on shelves or fridge/freezer, no problem as can be arranged.
Hallway
4 doors leading to bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and communal space. Bedrooms opposite side of hallway.
Surrounding area within flat’s boundaries:
The flat is situated in a gated area which requires security codes to enter which leads onto car park and children’s play area, to the rear are a couple of benches and beyond this is the bin area, with general waste bins and recycling facilities. Above my flat is the communal roof space which is very basic which is occasionally used so benefits my flat from not having another flat directly upstairs. Strictly no parking within the boundaries as spaces privately owned.
Access
No lifts, 2 flights of stairs to access.

Ideal lodger
Respectful, clean and tidy person required.
A friendly, easy going person, doesn't take themselves too seriously that has a sense of respect for personal space.

Would appreciate that the person to be respectful to surroundings and treat the flat as they would their own possessions, pays rent on time (we all have to make a living), cleans up after themselves e. g. rinse bath after themselves, wash/wipe up when using kitchen.

Getting around
Flat in extremely good location for public transport. Southwest trains is a 5 minute walk that takes you direct to Waterloo in approximately 40 minutes, Syon Lane, Kew, Staines, Virginia Waters etc. Kew is only a 10 minute journey by train. 111 bus route, just a walk away takes you to Heathrow. The H20 bus stops directly outside and takes you to Hounslow Central tube or you can walk it in 15 minutes.

Neighbourhood overview
Multi-cultural area. Plenty of restaurants and cafes that provide different cusines and price ranges. Although not immediately obvious Hounslow does have a long history. There is a nature reserve at Hounslow Heath a bus ride away. Heathrow airport is just down the road and a short journey away. There are lots of tourist attractions around the London Borough of Hounslow which are easy accessible by public transport. Ongoing development around Hounslow that will eventually incorporate a cinema oppisite Asda's supermarket. Twickenham stadium is a couple of miles away with 1 of the stands approximately 15 minutes walk away.

A bit about me
I have lived in my home for 8 years. Quite an easy going person who is originally from Tenby, Wales but moved to London many moons ago. I work full time for a local authority. Like cooking and home projects/crafts.

I have a tenancy agreement that would lay out terms of lodging here that I would expect you to sign before you moved in or discuss any issues you would not be happy with. I would need to take a photocopy of your British passport, EEA national passport or passport with visa information, or naturalisation certificate in line with the government's right to rent legislation, Immigration Act 2014 to confirm someone has the right to rent and to ensure I am not illegally renting to someone.
