Large Double room in Richmond apartment

We have a double room available in our lovely four-bedroom apartment in Richmond, London. The room is available now as our flat mate is moving back to Poland.

The apartment is just by Richmond Bridge. It's about a ten-second walk from our front door to the river, 3-minutes into Richmond Town Centre and ten-minutes to Richmond Station (where you can catch District Line, London Overground and South West Trains to London). The fastest train from Richmond to Waterloo takes 19 minutes. Richmond itself is a beautiful place to live... we love it.

The apartment is spacious, with lovely high ceilings in a well maintained Victorian mansion building. We have two bathrooms, each with a shower/bath and toilet. The kitchen is airy, fully-equipped with plenty of storage space with a view of the river when you're washing up (though we do have a dishwasher). We also have a cleaner once a week. The living room is in the middle of the apartment (a bit like Friends), we have a broadband and tv package with Virgin and a big TV.

You would be sharing with three others. Everyone appreciates their own space and is busy elsewhere... but we hang out together at home and occasionally go for a drink when we are all around (and there’s not a pandemic!) It's a good balance.

The room is lovely and is fitted with a big mirror-sliding wardrobe along one wall and is furnished with a bed, bedside table and various other pieces. There is plenty of space for a desk and chair for anyone working from home.

The rent is £612.50 PCM excluding bills.

Council tax, Virgin TV and broadband, cleaner, household supplies, gas, electricity & water is all around £150 each PCM in winter but less in the summer months. Being a single-glazed Victorian property, with a skylight and lots of windows, heating is the most expensive of the bunch. Having said that, the basic rent is significantly lower than other properties in this area of this type, so overall it's still remarkably cheap.
