Affordable Room in SOUTHALL in exchange for help!

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, excellent opportunity for any potential FEMALE ONLY homesharers looking to live in a lovely home, we are looking for homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

Opportunity Location: SOUTHALL, LONDON UB1 - Lovely Location, 20 minutes’ walk or a short bus ride to SOUTHALL STATION and convenient to Heathrow Airport.

The accommodation is situated near one of Southall’s busy roads, Lady Margaret Road and a 20 minute walk to Southall station.
Southall is a railway station on the Great Western main line in Southall, London, England. It is in Travelcard Zone 4
Commuters can be in London Paddington in less than 17minutes from Southall station

There are various bus routes along the main road for easy connections to other destinations.

A spacious 3 bedroom terraced house on a lovely road with a small garden, large lounge/diner and a fully equipped kitchen with a spare fridge for the homesharer if required.

A double bedroom with a double bed. Large wardrobe and a small bedside chest of drawers.

The householder has her own shower and toilet downstairs and the homesharer would have their own shower and toilet upstairs, The householder does not go upstairs.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with storage space, washing machine.

Internet/wifi is available and there are number of local shops nearby.

A lovely lady in her late 80’s who lives in a spacious three bedroom terraced home.

She has minor heart condition but is on medication.
She had suffered from epilepsy but has not had an episode for over a year and is usually triggered by stress,.

Mobility is slow but can walk with her walking stick and when she is a little frail, she uses her frame but does not go out on her own.

She is enjoys watching the news and going to the church every Sunday and is looking for a friendly female homesharer who is happy to give her companionship and general support around the home especially in the evenings when she is usually on her own.

She is attracted to joining Homeshare as she likes the idea of having an extra presence in the house as overnight security and peace of mind for her family who she currently relies on a lot.

Our householder would prefer a non smoking female homesharer, She would not like any fish being cooked at home as she does not like the smell of fish.

The room is available subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
