Affordable accommodation offered in STANMORE – HA8 area, excellent opportunity for a Female ONLY, homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
The bus stop is 50 yards away and takes you to Canons Park Tube Station which is on the Jubilee Line, Travelcard Zone 5
The bus stop on the other side will take you to Belmont Circle, there are a number of shops including Tesco, Pharmacies, Newsagent and Coffee Shops

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady who is in her 90’s and lives in a lovely spacious 3 bedroom house in Stanmore. She is a gentle person who loves animals, she has a dog who is 16 years old a rescue dog called Roxie who is so sweet and partially blind. The Householder unfortunately had a fall during lockdown and she is in a residential home and will be coming home very soon.
Prior to lockdown she would have the mobile Library come once every month on a Monday to delivery cassette tapes to listen to and books and she would sit in her kitchen and listen and read. She likes shopping and to have her hair done, enjoys watching TV and doing quizzes and also has her personal DVD collection of films. Her appearance prior to admission into hospital/care with personal hygiene was great.

The ideal candidate must be a kind, friendly, caring and understanding female, someone who can integrate with her, someone who is calm, kind, patient and helpful. She welcomes a friendly Homesharer who can offer support and the added assurance of having someone at home at night.

ACCOMMODATION
3 bedroom house, the spare TV room downstairs will be changed to a bedroom for the Householder and there is a toilet downstairs.
There is also a shared kitchen, living room/dining room.
There is a lovely garden with a patio and garden furniture.
The homesharer will have a double bedroom with a double bed and bed side cabinet, draws and wardrobe space. The bathroom upstairs has a bath there is no shower.
There is no internet in the house.

The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
