Single room in shared flat Corstorphine

Fully furnished single room available in a shared flat in Corstorphine EH12.

The room has a single bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers and small study table and folding chair.

The monthly rent is £440 total which includes all bills including wireless broadband internet. You will be sharing the flat with two others (a couple) an older housecat and a lively young puppy.

We live quite quietly, often spending time at home or at the local park walking the dog. Our main requirement for a flatmate is that you should be someone who likes living with animals.

The flat is in Corstorphine, west Edinburgh. It's within short walking distance to a large Tesco and various other shops, banks, restaurants, cafes etc. The bus stop is a few minutes from the flat and by bus it's about 20 minutes west of the city centre. Good bus links to City Centre, Edinburgh Park, South Gyle, Edinburgh College (Sighthill Campus), Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh Zoo. There is free on street parking.

Unfortunately there are no direct bus links to Heriot Watt and Napier Universities. Travelling to these universities would need you to take two buses each way or about one mile walk then one bus or cycling is ok if you don't mind hills!

I would describe the flat as a bit cluttered but we clean common areas regularly and for example, always clean dishes. We would be looking for a flatmate with a similar approach.

You will have shared use of the bathroom with bath and shower and the kitchen with large cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There's also a large and attractive communal back garden that's shared between the six flats in the building.

We would consider a flatmate with a dog or other pet provided they could get on with our cat and dog. Our cat usually gets on fine with calm dogs but it's unlikely that he would take to another cat living with him.

We're both professionals with one of us working from home full time and the other travelling in to work part time.
