I have a huge room for rent that was the living room room. with couch, real fireplace 2 windows, double bed and Tv - yes real working fireplace ! very toasty :)

Its a farmhouse spilt into 3 separate cottages and I have the lower cottage at the end. Its on a private estate 20 mins max to town on a bus, or you can drive to town max 10 mins if you miss the traffic. The bus stop and miller and carter restaurant (with beer garden) is an 8 min walk. The river almond is very close by with a lovely walk down to cramond foreshore and the Cramond inn pub

There is weights and tyres in the garden and plenty runs for those who keep fit.

Airport 20 mins drive, south Queensferry 10 mins drive. Train stop at south Queensferry 7 mins drive.

Beach 10 mins walk, river 5 mins walk bus stop and restaurant/pub 8 mins walk.

Miles of sprawling countryside, with pheasants, deer, sheep, highland cows and all different types of birdlife including my favourite woodpecker who visits - the house is situated very close to the scenic river Almond with kingfishers, herons.

Lucky you - possible the best room in the world !

Kitchen has all mod cons, bathroom shower and bath, small but functional.

Internet, wifi 4mbps not great but fine for emails and if streaming movie just pause 10 mins then its fine

The site asked why I preferred female. Its personal, but I have a (nearly 7) year old son. I feel safer with a female over a male in the house, and he prefes it also. He wont be around all the time but hes here some times.
