Spacious room with a double bed, double sofa bed, desk, TV and large fitted wardrobe. Ideal for professionals, students and tourists.

The room is available on a weekly basis for £150 per week, £500 per month. The room is suitable for a single person, a couple or 2 single people sharing. The charge for further additional guests after 2 and up to 4 total is £15 per person per night. All bills are included in the rent.

The room is currently available from 16th June.

There is access to a shared kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom with a bath and shower, and upstairs toilet.
There is free on-street parking and cyclists may leave their bicycles in the garage.

It is a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to both Edinburgh, Lothians and the local amenities in the area. Our house is a 2 minute walk from a 24 hour Tesco supermarket. Dalkeith town centre is close by, and there are great local pubs, restaurants, parks and family-friendly activities. Dobbies butterfly world is 3 minutes away by car, and Dalkeith country estate which has many events throughout the year is 5 minutes away by car.

The Eskbank station for the Edinburgh - Galashiels railway is a 10 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive (there is free station parking). There is a bus stop round the corner with regular buses in to Edinburgh and the local area.

The area is also great for cyclists with the Musselburgh - Penicuik cycle path close by and many great road cycle routes throughout the Lothians. World renowned Glentress Forrest mountain bike trail centre and Go Ape is 40 minutes away by car near Peebles, and the nearby Pentland hills are also great for cyclists and hillwalkers. Aberlady Bay in East Lothian is a scenic nature reserve famous for bird watching and is 30 mins drive away. There are also numerous beautiful golf courses in the area. Roslin Chapel is also close by, made famous by the film The Da Vinci Code.

The Midlothian campus of Edinburgh College is a 10 minute walk from the house. Other universities are easily accessible by bus or car - Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh University, Heriot Watt University, Napier University and other Edinburgh College campuses. The Edinburgh Royal Infirmary hospital is 10 – 15 minutes away by car.
