I am subletting this modern, spacious, light-flooded apartment from October until December, and can be flexible with exact dates. Due to travel plans I will be out of town for a few months, but don't want to lose this absolute gem of an Edinburgh apartment, so I am looking for a clean and reliable person to occupy it while I am gone. An ideal start date for the short term occupant to come in would be between October 8 and 15, and an ideal end date would be anywhere between end of December and mid-January, but please do get in touch if your preferred dates differ slightly.

The apartment is centrally located in the Tollcross area, close to Bruntsfield with its many local shops and a 5-minute walk from the meadows, as well as just a 12-minute walk from Princes Street. It is located on the third (and top) floor. There is underfloor-heating throughout – a real benefit considering the time of year! The apartment consists of an open plan living room and kitchen with easily cleanable wooden floors, plus shower room and bedroom. The bathroom has a large modern non-electric shower with strong water pressure, and there is a washing machine and a dishwasher, electric fan oven, gas hob, extractor hood, microwave and a fridge/freezer. The bedroom is a good sized double bedroom, so the flat is suitable for a single person or a couple.

The apartment was fully furnished and newly renovated from the ground by the owners when they lived here themselves until about four years ago, and you can tell how much effort they put in by the modern furnishing alone, which notably differs from the typical 80s interior you get in so many typical old town Edinburgh apartments. The owners are a lovely couple and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are always very responsive if there ever is an issue with the apartment, which is a refreshing change compared to any of the letting agencies through which most Edinburgh apartments are let.
