Central spacious double room in comfortable hous

Hi there.
We are a friendly and easy going couple who enjoy getting to know other people, but equally respect your privacy. We are both professionals and my 15 year old son lives with his dad part time. We also have a friendly dog who will not enter your living areas unless you want him to. We are a mix of nationalities (Danish /Swedish/Scottish) and have traveled a lot, but very settled in Edinburgh.
It’s a detached Victorian house with both traditional and modern areas, and we have a large garden and free on-street parking. The location can be deceiving if you are not familiar with the area, as it’s within walking distance from the city centre and great access to i. e. the Gyle and the airport for major companies /banks etc. You can walk to the West End in 20 min and Haymarket train station in 15 min and there is also really good transport links with bus/tram with stops being just round the corner.
The double room is very spacious and fully furnished and is located on the ground floor. Furniture include double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, clothes rail, extendable desk and bookcase. There is also a separate sitting room for your use to watch tv and relax as we don’t use that room. Bathroom comprising of bath and over bath shower with direct access from your room and mainly for your use. Large open plan kitchen and dining area.
We live next to a park with good access to cycle paths and walks and the Water of Leith path is just round the corner (the water also runs at the back of our garden, so you can see the stork which has decided to hang out there since last summer). We have a bike shed if you are bringing your bike. There are good facilities in the area with local shops, take aways and cafes within 5 min walk and a large supermarket and gym just 15 min walk.
The Modern Art Gallery, Stockbridge etc all within walking distance by following the Water of Leith path.
