The room is available in a 2 bedroom, top floor flat, in Oxgangs, just south of Morningside. This means easy, quick access to the City Bypass, and direct buses run from a stop right outside the door into the city centre, to the Royal Infirmary, and to Haymarket station (bus numbers include the 400, 4, 5, 16 and 27). The tenement also has free parking behind it.
As you can see from the photos, there is also a large amount of storage space, both within the room and throughout the rest of the flat.
Bills are not included, but come to around £140 each (including council tax).
There is an Aldi within 5 mins walk, a Coop with 2 mins walk, and Colinton Tesco Superstore is less than 20 mins walk (or a 2 min drive).
The roomate moving out has lived here for over 4 years, and is only relocating for a new job. As a good friend of hers, I have stayed here on and off for short times over the years, before moving in permanently in December when I started a new job in Edinburgh.
As it is a 2 bedroom flat, it is important that any potential roomate and I get on, so while viewings can be scheduled while I am at work, I would prefer to meet for a friendly chat before anything is decided. Don't worry, I'm pretty easy-going!
