Masters student looking for flatmate nr Haymarket

Hi, my name is Eliot, and I am a full-time Masters student at Heriot-Watt University. I’m looking for a very tidy and considerate flatmate who enjoys communal living and will be happy to share various flat responsibilities. Ideally, someone around 20-30 years old would be great. The flat will be free to move into ASAP after the 22nd of October. Also, you must be planning on staying in the flat until September 2020 at the earliest. No couples please!

I’m 22, and have been living in the city for a few years. I’m Scottish, but I also speak French and Spanish. I am a friendly, sociable and tidy flatmate. I will usually be out during the day at uni Monday-Friday, so don’t worry about me knocking about the place all the time!

The spacious bedroom is in a smart, modern, ground-floor flat located near Haymarket. It’s a light room, and there’s a double bed, built-in mirror wardrobe and it has its own separate bathroom. The flat has a fully-furnished lounge and interior kitchen, including an electric hob and washing machine. The rent is £500 per month for the room plus WiFi and utilities (around £60). It’s council tax band E (with a 25% discount for living with a full-time student), unless you’re exempt as well of course.

The flat is in a pretty, quiet residential neighbourhood with plenty of amenities nearby. It’s a 6-minute walk from Haymarket train station, 3-minute walk from both Co-op and Lidl, and 2-minute walk to Dalry Road, which is serviced by multiple bus routes going in and out of the city centre. Also, it’s around a 10-minute walk to Fountain Park retail centre.
