Double bedroom in cozy 2BD flat - Abbeyhill

Hello 👋 my lovely housemate is moving back to Oz next month. I'm looking for a professional in their late 20’s - early 30’s to move into this cozy 2 bedroom, second-floor flat in Abbeyhill with a lovely Australian (that’s me) from 16th May 2021. Must be LGBTQ+ friendly! 🏳️‍🌈

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁: EH7 area. £487.5 rent per month, £15 for wifi, council tax band B and £18 - £30 for electricity + gas depending on the season. The flat is cozy, bright, and quiet. It’s located off the main road (London Rd junction) so lots of buses less than 1 minute away (4, 5, 19, 34, 45, 104, 113, 124, X5, X7, X26, X44) plus Sainsbury's, Easter Greens and Lidl in walking distance. Free parking on the street. The bathroom has been renovated last year with a new shower room and separate toilet room. There is a large communal basement downstairs for extra storage for bikes, spare furniture etc. 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪-𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨!

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲: I’m friendly and love having a chat/sharing occasional meals/a beer or two but I do also appreciate my own and other's space. I'm an early sleeper and early riser. I love plants (as seen in the photos!) I work for an animal welfare charity and am currently working from home. I’m a pescatarian and cook a lot of veggie food but meat-eaters are welcome. I really appreciate tidy shared spaces. Like most Aussies, I’m straightforward and will deal with issues as they come up.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂: Friendly, positive, and honest professional. Appreciates tidy but lived in shared spaces. Commits to cleaning the flat once a month and chipping in with flat stuff eg maintenance checks etc. Likes having music or the radio playing in the background. Min 6 months stay.
