Spare room overlooking the garden in my flat in a stone-built Victorian house in a quiet and leafy part of Edinburgh. The bathroom was refurbished in 2017 and would be shared with my existing female lodger. A cleaner comes twice a month (included in the rent).
There's many bus routes within a short walk and only 1.5 miles to the main station. You can easily walk to Holyrood Park and Blackford Hill for the wonderful views. Easy access to the Royal Infirmary, Bioquarter, King's Buildings and into town for the main University of Edinburgh campus, plus the 30 bus is close by, which goes direct to Queen Margaret University at Musselburgh.
I work in health care and education and am a Guardian reader, radio 4 listener. The room would suit someone quiet, independent and cheerful with their own social network as I'm often out and about. Do get in touch if you think this might suit you!
I'm looking to let from early September 2018 until the end of July 2019 at the latest, as I plan to use that room for friends during the Fringe Festival in August 2019.
