A large master bedroom with its own en-suite shower and toilet within two bedroom flat is available for rent from 01.09.2018. There is second bathroom in the flat with bath, shower and toilet off the hall for the occupant of the second bedroom.
The flat is on the ground floor of a three floor red brick building located south of Edinburgh city center in Fairmilehead. It is about a mile north of ring road.
The room has a built – in wardrobe and two chests of drawers (the flat has a decent amount of other storage space in the hall).
The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, cupboards, etc. There is also a large open plan lounge/dining area with two sofas and south facing bay window.
The flat has modern gas boiler and monthly bills for gas, electricity and broadband are about £40 each. Council tax is about £90 pcm each, rent is £410 per month.
There is decent bus service to city center and bus journey to Princess Str. on bus lines 11, 15 or 5,16 takes about 20 min.
The area is very quiet and peaceful. There is little traffic around the house. Morrison’s supermarket is 5 min walk, TESCO big supermarket is three bus stops away. There is a small park just across the road and Pentland hills are over mile away. There is off – street parking.
I occupy the second bedroom and I am retired university lecturer/researcher, working on research projects. I like reading, classical music, meeting with family and friends and going to mountains.
Viewing can be arranged during the day or in the evenings Monday to Sunday.
The letting agency requires no pets and no smoking. The landlord is friendly and lives locally. We do not see much from either of them most of the time.
